Becky and James’ festival wedding at Jubilee House in Oxfordshire was quite a fun and very entertaining event. The couple are very much the festival goers and so are their friends. So they thought to themselves, why not bring that into our wedding and make the day as unique as it can be?! The two really went all out! And everyone, family & friends, helped out. Everything from the meters upon meters of bunting up to that huge wooden photo panel you normally only see at fairs and carnivals – all made from scratch! How cool is that?! I’ve been told that the best man has created that photo wall himself. Wowsers!
The day was very relaxed and informal in a lot of ways. The ceremony was held within the woods of the Jubilee House woods area. James’ brother was performing the ceremony himself which made it even more personal. They had a couple of beautiful readings by close friends and finished the ceremony off with a bit of folk music.
In the evening, they held a little “Rowley Bake Off” – which meant that all guest were invited to bring a self-made cake along. And the cakes where stunning! The couple then tested a few and from those chose a winner. What a fun idea!
Such an unique wedding. I must say, one of the most unique weddings I’ve had the pleasure and honour to be part of. Thanks again for having me, guys!
Lots of love,
